When you request one of our free crochet guides, we collect the email address you provide, along with the timestamp, IP address, and browser information associated with your request. We keep a record of the exact consent text you agreed to and when you confirmed your email, as proof of your opt-in.
We use your email address to send you the crochet guide you requested, to confirm that the email address is really yours (double opt-in), and — only if you agreed — to occasionally send you emails about new Doodlefluff patterns. We use the IP address and timestamp solely to keep a record that consent was given, in case we ever need to demonstrate that.
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), and emails are sent through Resend. Neither company is permitted to use your data for anything other than providing these services to us.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email we send. Unsubscribing stops future marketing emails but doesn't remove access to a guide you've already downloaded. To request that your data be deleted entirely, contact us at support@sporal.io.
We retain your information for as long as you remain subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterward to maintain our consent records. If you'd like your data removed sooner, contact us and we'll take care of it.
